Rupert Cryer is an Assistant Director in the Cabinet Office – the UK Government corporate headquarters that supports the Prime Minister and leads on specific critical policy areas.
Rupert is leading SKYrooms - a network of unique spaces for innovation. Based in Policy Lab, the UK Government’s design thinking team, Rupert pitched SKYrooms to the Chief Executive of the Civil Service, developed the concept in partnership with IDEO and the Royal College of Art and is currently scaling it as a model for collaboration.
Rupert also co-founded the Cabinet Office Policy School – a flagship policy sprint that is run in partnership with Wayra (Telefonica’s Accelerator) and 10 Downing Street.
Rupert is a Policy Fellow at Cambridge University, specialising in innovation and entrepreneurship.
