Megan Miller is cofounder and CEO of San Francisco-based Bitty Foods, which makes delicious, healthy snacks with cricket flour, the most sustainable protein on earth. The name might be Bitty, but their mission is huge: to alleviate stress on the global food system by introducing edible insects as an eco-friendly source of nutrition to help feed billions of people.
Megan's passions for innovation, health, and the outdoors have forged her diverse professional background. Before starting Bitty Foods, she helped award grants at the USDA Sustainable Agriculture department, was an editor at Outside Magazine and developed an award-winning iPhone fitness app, among other projects. Bitty Foods was named one of Entrepreneur Magazines 100 Brilliant Companies and has been covered by publications including the New York Times, Vogue, Men’s Health and Vice. Megan was named one of Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business in 2017.
